Anti-scanning Code learning Remote Control System Prevents the radio signal from your remote control being grabbed by a high tech thief who could use it to disarm the alarm.
Includes shock sensor, other detectors available Detects knocks or impact to the vehicle as would be caused if someone broke a window for example.

With the exception of the Easy Fit, the Predator range comes with a dual stage shock sensor. A light knock will cause the alarm to chirp a warning and a heavier knock will set the full alarm off. The warning stage can also be connected to our voice warning module instead of to the alarm. Other detectors such as ultrasonic sensors and microwave detectors are available and multiple detectors can be used at the same time (but only one of each type)

Silent Arm/Disarm Option Allows you to arm and disarm the alarm without the siren chirping a confirmation. Ideal for those early starts or late finishes when you don't want to wake everyone up.
Panic feature from remote control Set the alarm off manually from the remote control to attract attention to yourself or the car in an emergency.
Universal Central Locking Control The alarm will control all types of central locking so that the doors lock and unlock automatically when you arm and disarm the system. If your central locking system only operates from the drivers door key (and not the passengers door key) then you will need a 2 wire motor for your drivers door.

Central locking kits are also available to upgrade cars without central locking to full automatic locking.
With Additional Relays
Total Closure Facility (closes windows on vehicles with total closure)
Can also be used as a 2nd Auxilliary output If your vehicle has total closure this alarm will close the windows automatically when it is armed without any additional interfaces. You can tell if you have total closure if the windows close when you hold the drivers door key in the locked position. If you don't have total closure and want to close your electric windows when the alarm is armed then you will need a window closure module.
Auxilliary output controlled from remote control (eg. for control of boot release or remote starter) By pressing one of the buttons on the remote control you can operate an output from the alarm. This output can be used to operate a relay to trigger external devices such as a boot release, a remote starter or maybe some lighting.
Passive Arming arms alarm automatically (programmable option) If the ignition is turned off and a door is opened and closed the system will arm itself automatically 30 seconds later. This will prevent you from accidentally leaving the car with the alarm turned off. The doors are not locked. This feature is turned on and off through the programming menu.
Passive Locking locks the door & arms alarm automatically (programmable option) Similar to passive arming this feature will arm the alarm and lock the doors 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off and a door is opened and closed. This will prevent you from accidentally leaving the car with the alarm turned off and doors unlocked. This feature is turned on and off through the programming menu.
Remote Engine Start with 3/6 hour auto start for battery charging/heating Allows you to start your engine from the remote control. Fed up of leaving the house to a freezing cold car, just leave your heater controls in the on position when you leave the car and you can start it remotely before you leave in the morning and leave to a cosy car. The alarm remains armed throughout remote engine starting and will shut the engine down if the alarm is triggered.
The system can also be set to start automatically every 3 or 6 hours to keep the battery charged or to stop the car freezing. If your vehicle has a factory fit immobiliser which operates from a chip embedded in the ignition key (most cars after 1998) you will need one of our transponder bypass modules in order to use the remote start feature of this alarm. This will allow the alarm to turn the factory immobiliser off so it can start the engine. The remote starter is compatible with both automatic and manual vehicles. On manual vehicles, you must follow a safety procedure when leaving the vehicle and ensure it is not in gear before using remote start. This feature is turned on and off through the programming menu.
Turbo Timer (programmable option) This is a nice feature to help prolong the life of your turbo, especially if you like to drive your car hard. Turning your engine off when the turbo is red hot can cause all kinds of problems. The turbo timer keeps the engine running for 2 or 3 minutes (programmable) once you turn the ignition off to allow your turbo to cool down gradually even once you have left your car. As with the remote starter feature, the turbo timer will require that a transponder bypass module is installed if the car has a factory fit immobiliser which operates from a chip embedded in the ignition key (most cars after 1998). Only one bypass module is required for both remote start/turbo timer. This feature is turned on and off through the programming menu.
Engine immobiliser Immobilises the car when the alarm is armed by cutting off the power to the starter motor, fuel pump or ignition system.
An additional Thatcham Category 2 approved immobiliser is also available.
Flashing Hazard Lights on arm/disarm/activation The cars hazard lights are flashed to confirm the system has been armed or disarmed and are flashed continuously whilst the alarm is sounding.
Temporary shock sensor bypass from remote control This allows you to arm the alarm but bypass the plug in detectors such as the included shock sensor or any additional sensors. One use for this is to keep the car secured when leaving the dog in the car without its movement triggering the alarm.
Valet mode to disable alarm functions This is handy if you use valet parking or when having your car serviced. When in valet mode all the alarm functions are disabled and the remote control will only lock and unlock the doors (if connected). This means you can hand your car keys over and keep hold of the remote controls without any worry that someone will copy them behind your back and mechanics don't have to worry about the alarm arming itself (if passive arming is enabled) or anti-hijack operating.
Anti Hijack (automatic or from remote control) Car jacking is an increasing crime whereby people are forced out of their cars at traffic lights or after a bump. Anti Hijack can be used in one of two ways, manually from the remote control or automatically. Automatic mode is turned on through the programmable options and once activated will monitor for the drivers door being opened when the engine is running such as would happen in a hijack situation. Within 60 seconds of the door being opened then the alarm will go into anti-hijack and will sound the alarm, flash the hazard lights and immobilise the vehicle. This feature is turned on and off through the programming menu.
Car Finder feature Activated from the remote control this feature flashes your hazard lights 12 times and chirps the siren 6 times to help you find your car in a car park.
Auto re-arm prevents accidental disarming If the alarm is turned off but no doors are opened within 30 seconds the alarm will re-arm itself. This prevents the alarm from being turned off accidentally.
Ignition lock/unlock automatically locks/unlocks doors when ignition is turned on/off (programmable option) This is a nice security and safety measure that will automatically lock your central locking 15 seconds after the ignition is turned on and then unlock it again when the ignition is turned off preventing any unwanted passengers from getting in or little fingers from opening the doors mid journey.

This feature is turned on and off through the programming menu.
Smart dashboard status LED Bright flashing red light on the dashboard to warn potential thieves that the car is alarmed. On all but the Easy Fit alarm the LED also gives you useful feedback about the mode the alarm is in and if the the alarm was set off in your absence it will indicate which input was triggered when you disarm the system.

The dashboard LED can also be accompanied by an optional high visibility LED scanner.
Arm condition memory Even if the power to the alarm is disconnected it will remain in the same state when power is restored. This means the system cannot be bypassed by temporarily interrupting the power.
Defective Zone Bypass prevents false alarms The alarn isolates a sensor input if continuous activations are made from the same sensor. This prevents a faulty sensor or door switch from triggering the alarm constantly and annoying the neighbours.
Emergency Over-ride facility If you lose your remote controls or find yourself with a flat battery you can disarm the alarm using a combination of turns of the ignition key and presses of the hidden valet switch.
Bonnet protection by supplied switch A switch is included to protect the bonnet as few cars have one installed as standard.
Door protection where switches fitted To detect when doors are opened and closed the alarm connects in to the vehicles existing door switches as used for the interior light. Aftermarket switches are available for vehicles that don't have them as standard (classic Mini, Land Rover etc).
Boot protection where switches fitted In cars with a boot light fitted the alarm can also sense when the boot is opened or closed. If no light is fitted it is usually possible to install a switch.
